2010 – Trying not to look like a bag of a$$

I have no sense of style.

Really, I don’t. I didn’t really have a LOT of style when I was skinny (back in the olden days I thought a size 8 was FAT … I’d now give a limb to be a size 8). I REALLY don’t have a sense of style now. I should be on What Not to Wear. Really, if you were to describe my style it would probably include words like … bag lady… lazy…frumpy…

I desire to be different. As much as I desire to be a size 8 again (and am working on that) I would like not to look like a bag of ass whilst heavier.

Thanks to Patricia over at A Little Hut (who’s blog I dearly love and who’s book Home, Paper, Scissors: Decorative Paper Accessories for the Home I own and should review here because I love it.) There are so many things I desire to make from

(Disclaimer: If you click on and buy Home.Paper.Scissors. via the link above I will be compensated (minimally) through Amazon Associates.)

I am going to work on a killer outfit, and post it to  Bloganistas. Stay tuned, I aspire to look less assy.

  • I’m with you, I still haven’t put up my bio photo on my site b/c I am obsessing over whether my hair should be up or down, color or B&W, posed or candid, and how to Photoshop away my double chin and make my skin glow like a 20 yr old. I haven’t even begun to worry about the actual clothing to wear in the photo. If I take a totally “honest” pic it would be of me in sweatpants with my hair mussed up from my mid-day nap. I would totally be on a What Not to Wear classics reel. Okay, now officially worried about it.
