Exhibit A: Scherenschnitte: Cindy Ferguson for example. I find papercutting wonderful. It takes incredibly simple materials, and a very simple concept (cutting paper) and these talented designers turn the simple materials and simple concepts into works of art. Or, works of craft. Ever since starting to read Amy over at angry chicken I’ve been facinated with these artists’ intricate and beautiful papercuts (or, paper cuts?).
